We discussed ideas for our TV drama and these are the ideas that we came up with:
- Reversed human and zombies - humans are the bad guys, zombies are the good guys
- Sherlock theme
- Casualty theme
- School theme - drama - similar to waterloo road
We chose to go with the reversed human and zombies idea because we thought it was different and creative. We also thought it was be a challenge. The main idea is to have a family acting normal, having dinner around the table, then the lights go out and they wake up as zombies. One member of the family is missing, this will probably be the teenager of the family. The rest of the family will have to search for this teenager. We will need to create the right effects, including the make up for the zombies and the creepy and suspicious feel after the lights have come back on. This could be blood on the walls. The zombie family will also have to deal with the humans who are almost like zombies are supposed to be like. They will be against the zombie family even thought they are the normal ones.
We chose to work in a group of 4 because we would get a wide range of ideas and skills throughout the group members. Also, we all get on well so we would work together as a group well.
